Despite the weather warnings, cancelled trains and chaotic roads the first Multimedia Storymaking Walk was a great success.
Kudos to those who made it into Cambridge and spent time with me as we discussed digital story making techniques and had a look at some of the hardware, apps and methodology. It was a lot of fun.
Here is a storify with a few captured moments. Don’t forget to click the [read more] link to read the whole story.
Big thanks to the Open University for making these first dates possible (and FREE to you) and if you’re interested in participating in something like this in your town or city, watch this space as we’ll be touring the UK over this year. (Next stop is Leeds on the 15th February).
We will be focusing on cities and towns that have an Open University regional centre and are requested the most in the comments.
If you’d like me to do something along the same lines in your town, city or country, please drop me an email (linked top right) and we can talk more.
Hey there. Just listened to the Guardian Tech Weekly podcast which lead
me to your website and this fabulous idea of the digital storytelling
workshops. I would LOVE to come to one – the closest OU support centre
is in Edinburgh…any chance you will be heading up here? I could recruit a few people to attend if this helps:)
Hi, I do think that Edinburgh is on the cards. Looking forward to it. Keep reminding us though 🙂
