Some people change their bike every year. I’ve had a few bikes but I feel this one is for keeps and I’d like to make it something even more special. Even more mine.
I fell in love with my Triumph seconds after pulling out of the dealers for a test ride. They had let me out on the Scrambler while they prepped the Triumph Street Triple I was there to try ..and potentially buy.

And yet I left on the Scrambler. It was everything I wanted in a bike. The ride, the sound, the simplicity. And it wasn’t tuned like a Speeder Bike.
It’s a timeless bike as much fun at 30 as it is at 90 (allegedly).

I’ve been too-ing and fro-ing ideas and photos with the guys from @Spiritofthe70s for a couple of weeks now and feel the final bike design will look something very much like one of these photos in this post.
I have my favourite. Which one is yours?

For me I’d have it all red – like that beautiful colour in the back ground Would set off the rest of the silver lovely 😉
I’d love to hear your thoughts on the following designs..
well if you aint going to spray it matt army green it’s got to be image 7
@Wur2le Army green has been done.. too much. 🙂
Three, or Six with black mudguards front and back.
Yes… Orphan Pixels… that’s my suggestion… and including the little red bit under the right end of the seat. In other words, No3 with the petrol tank of No6. 🙂 I’m itching to get Photoshop open 😉
Three for me.
love the raised front mud guard too…
Maim changes to mine are, lightened front and back end. Toning down of the chrome pipes, wheels and engine casing. Custom seat upholstered in leather with a diamond stitch and upgraded shocks. The paintwork now is the hard bit. I’m not sure if i’d like the original badges back or go for something totally new..
Hmmm, so no one likes the one I do. Number 5. I think i’m going to ask them to render me a version of Number 5 with red piping on the seat. So as you sit on the bike, imagine a black band running from the headstock to the seat of say 5-6 inches wide and either side of that, a thin red line running again from the headstock to the seat, if these red lines were roughly the width of the seat then the red lines on the tank would follow on to the piping lines on the seat. Not sure how stripy that would be. But I like the idea of the continuing lines down the bike. as for the logo.. Hmmm.
I’d go with Number 6, but swapping the rear mudguard for a black one as well. 5 is OK, but a bit too subtle for my liking – I like anodised black things…
Doh.. Sorry guys. I have a new favorite with the addition of three new bike designs..
OK, then. 6 or 10. But still needs a black rear mudguard.
@BadgerGravling I love 10 but i’m also liking how the aluminum mudguard lightens the rear. I’m thinking that with a grey tank and perhaps the same coloured front guard we could be there.
Ahh.. liking no10, love the tank design. Still like the red piping on the seat of No3.
OK. Last renders of my potential bike and i think number 13 is the one for me..
Tomorrow I will have decided on the final design. It’s bloody hard when there are so many i like. I’m going for the lighter coloured tank but with a design similar to the last bike shown.
No10 is nice, but No12 is Gorgeous, its the flow of the red from the tank down the bike, all I would change is the rear guard to black
i like 13 the best too
i like the 8th bike its nice… http://www.treppenlift.ag
aww sweeet!
