At various points today I got a strong whiff of decent whisky. I did think everyone around me had a drink problem, but it turns out it was a cracked glass hip flask in my pocket.
It contained a decent dose of the 25year old rare malt Millburn. The last drop in a bottle bought by my late mother for my 30th birthday. I had wanted to drink it should I reach my goal of getting to John O’Groats on Friday. Luckily all is not totally lost as @RichardMackney helped me save 1oz and transferred it into a miniature stainless steel flask. So at least I’ll have a sip to celebrate should i complete the mission in hand. A total of 395 miles covered today. More info of my trip at: http://FreeBees.me
That’s the most precious 1oz of anything. And your Mother is watching over you and still smiling. You make her proud! Soldier on!
