I have been experimenting with Storify. It’s all about content curation but also has the great side affect of making sense of the many streams we follow enabling you to create content from the chaos to then share and embed.
I have a few ‘works in progress’ on there. Here is one of them. A selection of tweets from my Grandmother’s twitter account @Granumentally
Lovely post sir.
My particular favourite was:
“Its all very exciting. The last time i was on the radio was in the war sending coded messages.”
Wonderful stuff.
It’s impossible to get my 26 year old head around the sorts of timescales involved, but I hope I can one day still recount the name of the pets I had 72 years ago.
And I know how she feels about Wogan.
Incredible post, Doc. Thank you for sharing. I’ve always loved getting to know your Gran. Seeing you and her in your kitchen was one of favorite moments Seesmic moments.

Wonderful. Wish I could do the same with my mum…
I love this:
“I’d like a young clean shaven French man please.”
And also:
“I keep forgetting how bad my memory is.”
Yesterday, I spoke to my mum on the phone, in her Dementure care home, back in Sweden. She had a new ‘neighbour’ visiting her, in her room – a woman whom I know very well from my teenage years. My brother used to date her daughter back then and she lived not far from us, used to shop in my mum’s little corner shop.
Now, these two old ladies were sitting there, talking, but neither of them remembered each other. Still – they enjoy each other’s company today. They both know that they ‘ought to’ remember each other, but they don’t.
You’re doing such a great job, Christian.
Fantastic! I love her, could read and listen to her hours long! :-))
