UPDATE: Joanne Lee is picking up the tickets as the original winner did not respond. Enjoy!
I have in my possession TWO free tickets to the film screening of SoulBoy and entry to the following all-night Northern Soul Party.
It’s all happening in The Kings Hall Kingsway off Glebe Street Stoke-On-Trent ST4 1RG on Saturday the 21st of August 2010.
Doors open at 7pm with the film starting at 7:30pm. The party starts at 9pm and doesn’t end till 7am the next morning. Hense the term ‘all-nighter’.
All you have to do is drop a comment below and tell me why you want the tickets and who you are taking with you.
I will then very scientifically drop the names into a hat and get the winner picked out. Probably by some random person I bump into. Bandwidth allowing I will live stream the draw.
I’ll also be at the film and party documenting what I see and look forward to meeting up with the lucky winners!
I am @Documentally on twitter and I have compiled a list of people connected with the film who are also on twitter HERE.
I’d like the tickets please, I’d bring my mate Rhiannon, she’s a northern soul, which seems to fit with the party theme. 🙂
I would take the wife with me, we are both Northern soulies, we still attend do’s now and this film is alost a life story
i would like the tickets please and i would take my friend sally or elaine as we were all extras in the film, so would be good to see if we actually made it onto the big screen!!
Me and my mate Jules would do ‘almost’ anything for these tickets! – we have waited in anticipation for this film for both the storyline and of course the music…Keep the Faith x
we should have the tickets, because we were there the first time ,and still pluging it away 37 years later ,and we are from the south of England .Each weekend we travelled 600 to 700 miles up and down England for this great music
Hi Guys, thanks for the comments. If you have a twitter name plz leave them so i can contact the winner easily. I’ll draw in a few days. Good luck!!
I’d love the tickets, have lived and breathed the dream of the soul scene for 34 years and would of course bring my life long soulmate the Rev x
because i wanna see how bad or good and how factually wrong the dancing in the trailer isTrailer shows the soul scene that wasnt just WIGAN missed out on where the real stories where,it was about the music not the romance of it and the soul scene wasnt 1974 that was the aftermath IMO,
I would love the tickets to take me and my wife back to the fantastic music and sights of the wonderful soul filled 70s
I’ll draw this tonight so the lucky winners have time to prepare!
