This unassuming bag full of tech has accompanied me throughout my African adventures.
I received it to review from @ThinkTankPhoto a few days before I left. It’s misleadingly large capacity has meant I travelled hand luggage from the UK in a Boeing 777 and also comfortably in other light aircraft over wild Kenya. At the moment it carries a panasonic GH1 & lenses, an iPad and Mini Gorilla, a Zoom H2, sunnies, canon ixus 120is, card readers, Joby tripod, additional camera mic, multi battery charger, waterproof jacket, iPhone, spare change of clothes, memory cards, batteries, notebook, documents & a rats nest of cables. The strap is rubberised to keep it on your shoulder and the quality of the finish is showing no signs of the battering it has taken.
If/when I come back to Africa I know this bag will happily take a pro Nikon body with a 70-200mm lens still attached. I’m really happy with the bag and feel it has made moving around Kenya hassle free at the same time as keeping my tech secure & easy to access.
