It’s day two of Shift Happens at the York Theatre Royal.I talked here last year and it was great. This year I’m hear to take pictures and play the documentalist and it may be even better. Either I didn’t get the chance to talk with as many people last time or this time people are sharing their inspiration more. Either way there is a buzz in the air and a lot of excited attendees. With budgets facing tighter & tighter restrictions it’s great to see organisations exchanging normally undervalued commodities between one another… It’s ideas, inspiration and stories of how the arts orgs can move forward that’s making this immediate world go round. So bare with me today. There will be more tweets laced with content (some relevant, some not) with the hashtag #shifthappens I’m looking forward to more of the same. [The photo above is a screen grab from the location logging app Gowalla. I still prefer it to Four Square. Not sure why. Perhaps it’s the interface and funky iPad app.]
