It’s too hot to do anything much here in Spain. I’m staying out of the sun although my solar panel is outside baking/charging and being damn useful. There’s very little solar tech visible on the houses round here. They really are missing a trick. The only people really utilizing solar technology are non-locals. There is a Norwegan guy on the hill near where I am staying who has kitted out an entire settlement with solar as the council refuses to recognize the planning permissions of the residents. (long story involving a corrupt Mayor). Looks like the panels are so efficient they will be selling electricity to the local electricity board. I hope it’s only a matter of time for efficiance to rise, costs fall and this kind of thinking to have widespread adoption among the rural Spanish communities.
