This is a very clever little bit of kit. I’ve got it to play film, photos & mp3’s.
About the size of a pack of cards, it’s a USB 2.0 or Memory card reading 1080p up-scaling HDMI media player. So with an SD/MS/MMC/SDHC card or thumbdrive loaded with films.. or even an external hard drive plugged in, I can play my content on any TV via either a HDMI or composite port. And for the bargain price of £17 (shop around) It even has a remote control. Is it any good..? Not sure yet, I’ve only just opened the box.
Very low price – Please report back on quality. No wonder Google have taken Android into this market. yes devices will need more internal components to run GoogleTV but there is a market for an open source operating system for boxes like this and Google have swooped!
Hiya I used one all week while skiing earlier this year, loved it though cldnt play back videos recorded on my Canon ixus 100 let me knowbif you caN use your 120 videos with it.
Hi @Ilicco I will check it out but i feel it may be the same file system and same issue. Perhaps the firmware is up-datable.
