So @nick_clegg.. Do you not need social media any more? Or have you just binned the guy who was tweeting for you?
Not one tweet in nearly a week. Not a single thank you for those that voted. Not even a 140 character press release saying how happy you are with your new found power. Maybe I’m taking this a little personally (see http://ourmaninside.com ) but there are plenty of occasions where you have stressed how important social media is when it comes to politicians communicating with those they work for. I find it hard to believe you haven’t had the time in 6 days to lift your phone and type a tweet to your supporters/followers/friends. I am writing this blog on my phone in a carpark. It’s easy. I’m happy to show you guys how. We need to feel connected in some way to those who are representing us and I feel social media tools are the key. Don’t just talk at us, converse with us. Don’t drop the ball now you’re in the door. Christian Payne@Documentally
ps. Oh and your avatar could do with updating but please don’t pick anything blue. That would freak too many people out.
I see @Nick_Clegg has more followers than the @Conservatives even without tweeting! People would rather talk with people than organisations.. Capitalise on it!
I see @Nick_Clegg tweeted a thanks on the 15th. Guess it’s more social media than Obama managed after getting in.
