I was just clearing out my camera drawer and found this Lomo LC-A shiny new in it’s box. It’s such a waste it sitting there doing nothing when it could be burning film and making art.
If you think you could use it, make me an offer on Twitter (@Documentally) before I stick it on Ebay. I have a feeling I will have a few things on eBay by the end of the day.(I just looked in the instruction book and it is stamped OIK 0151 next to a the serial number XB186814. Date of manufacture is 24 Dec 2002)
NOTE: Big thanks to @jethrobelman who is now the proud owner of my Lomo. I look forward to seeing some photos from it soon.
Wow, that’s cool! Why don’t you just keep it?
If you saw how many cameras I own and don’t use you would probably cry. It seems a waste of a good tool. It’s just sitting in a drawer.
Oh yeah I get it… I’d like to have one, one day. But for now I’ll keep myself busy with my SLR’s and my iPhone…
Who needs ebay when you have Posterous. Thanks @jethrobelman !
It’s a shame you didn’t find it two months ago. It was the camera’s 25th birthday last year and Lomography.com were offering £75 buyback (you even more online if it works). I traded in my broken one for a Smena 8M and then that for an Olympus Trip.
