I am posting this photo to help raise awareness on the on-going crackdown on photographers in the UK, US and Europe.

I also blogged about this same issue last year.. ourmaninside.com/2008/06/04/do-i-look-like-a-terrorist/
I didn’t post this to the flickr group as i didn’t feel it fit all of the criteria.
Those armed people are not terrorist ,you must respect other people’s tradition and clothes .Those people are the kurdish peshmerga not a terrorist as you wrote .
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peshmerga
are they hunting bird with those weapons? you are so pollyanna.
They don’t hunt the innocent revival, they do erasure the Turkish terrorism tumor in humanity history. They are a symbol of revenge for Armenian and Kurdish genocide.
by your view, mujaheddin in Afghanistan are not terrorist also. Or rebels in Iraq are not also terrorist. You have to change your description of terrorism I consider soldiers as innocent who forced to go military by government (compulsory military service). People like you have to understand that any trouble can be solved with guns. Kurdish issue can be solved by only Turkey government not provocateurs like you. İf you want to see real genocide go to Nanjing(china). Why don’t you support china to create their “freedom fighters” against japan. Don’t be Hypocritical. Finally, I can understand that you don’t know anything about Turkey’s history. About 20 years ago PKK aimed at villages in eastern turkey.
I was being factitious. Commenting on how photographers also get labelled and treated incorrectly. I know a little about the Kurdish.. I made this.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jrs-HSlwiH4
I am glad that you understood that big ethnic group cannot be described as a terrorist. Che Guevara was a terrorist in his enemies eyes, but he remains as the symbol for freedom. The Kurdish movement for freedom are fraught with thousands of Che Guevara.
